Percy & Reed No Oil Oil

Having seen this featured in Stella (the Telegraph supplement magazine) and Cosmopolitan, I simply had to give it a go. After years of bleach and heat abuse, my blonde locks are in desperate need of some TLC, and this looked pretty promising. At £14 for 60ml, it seemed like a worthwhile investment, and the only thing left to do was to see if it actually works...

The Claims- 'For silky hair which is as smooth as a Singapore Sling at sunset, we’ve used our special frizz-fighting pomegranate seed oil. Not only that, it will nourish and repair your hair too, while pro vitamin B5 gives you strength and heat protection.'

The Reality- Given this miraculous heatwave we're having, there has never been a better time to test an anti-frizz serum, and No Oil Oil doesn't disappoint. Normally I'm a bit hesitant to use serum on dry hair, as it tends to look greasy, but in the interest of science I decided to take one for the team. Surprisingly, it spread through my hair quite easily without any notable build up. Even better, my hands weren't even remotely greasy or sticky afterwards. Must be that No Oil formula of theirs...

On wet hair, it's equally as impressive, and results in a beautifully smooth blow dry. Not only that, but it's soft (and fellow bleach blondes out there will know how impressive that is!). Does it smell like pomegranate? In all honesty, I can't remember having ever sniffed one, but it definitely smells good!

The final test came fours later when I returned home from a particularly sweaty Rihanna concert, with, get this- SMOOTH HAIR!

All in all, I'd definitely recommend this product, and at just £14 you ought to try it too!
